History/Physical:

50-year-old left-handed female.

Six month history of mid-thoracic back pain.

Large mass expanding the left neural foramen (*). There is significant mass effect on the spinal cord (arrows).

There is abnormal signal in the T7 vertebral body (*).

The mass (arrow) in the canal enhances, as does the vertebral body (*). This could be bone invasion.

For CT-guided biopsy, the patient is prone. An oblique approach would be used to avoid the spinal cord (arrow).
