History/Physical:

59-year-old right-handed male.

Headache over the past year.

Multilobulated enhancing mass in the left lateral ventricle (*). This is blocking CSF outflow through the foramen of Monroe. There is resultant enlargement of the lateral ventricles (arrows).

Tx: Craniotomy and resection of lesion.

Diagnosis: Choroid plexus papilloma

Well-differentiated papillary lesion, resembling normal choroid plexus.

Individual fronds display benign histology and focal calcification.

Select cell expression of cytokeratin-7 (CK7).
