History/Physical

History/physical:

19-year-old right-handed male.

Progressive headache over one year.

Parinaud’s syndrome.

There is a heterogeneous mass in the pineal region (*) causing obstructive hydrocephalus.

There are small cystic foci within this solid mass (arrows).

The mass (*) compresses the superior colliculi (arrow). The high signal focus might be fat (arrowhead).

Diagnosis : Teratoma, mature

Multiple tissue patterns including endodermal elements (arrow).

Mesodermal areas including regions of cartilage formation (*).

Further mesoderm with adipocytes (*) and striated muscle (arrow).
