History/Physical:

57-year-old right handed female.

Personality changes over the past year.

Normal neurological examination.

There is a heterogeneous mass filling both lateral ventricles (*). This suggests the mass is arising from the septum pellucidum.

There is avid enhancement of the solid component. Margins are-well defined.

Diagnosis: Ependymoma, NEC

Moderately cellular lesion with areas of perivascular clearing (*).

Lesional cells possess oval nuclei and moderate volumes of eosinophilic cytoplasm. Rosette formation is noted, at times forming small canals lined by cilia (*).
