Case 047

Ill-defined mass in the posterior left parietal lobe (arrowheads).  Mass effect causes effacement of sulci and compression of the left lateral ventricle.

There is irregular enhancement at the ventricle margin (*).

There is further evidence of periventricular enhancement.

The enhancing area on T1 has low signal on this T2 sequence, likely from hypercellularity.
