History/Physical:

69-year-old right-handed male.

Progressive headache for one month.

Normal neurological examination.

Large extra-axial mass (*).

The mass enhances avidly. It could be arising from the dura of the falx (arrowhead) or convexity (arrow).

There is vasogenic edema (arrows) and subfalcine herniation.

Diagnosis: Solitary fibrous tumour

Generous “ropey” bundles of interstitial collagen (arrow).
