History/Physical:

58-year-old right-handed female.

One month history of progressive right-sided weakness.

There is an enhancing left frontal-parietal mass (*). There is moderate surrounding edema (arrows) and mass effect.

There were numerous smaller enhancing foci, including 4 on this slice (arrows).

Diagnosis: Metastatic adenocarcinoma, primary unknown

Ribbons and nests of neoplastic epithelial cells have pockets of necrosis (*).
