History/Physical:

71-year-old right-handed female.

Headache for three weeks. History of renal cell carcinoma.

Asymmetric fullness in the right temporal pole (*). Note speckled T1-hyperintensity, which can be seen with hemorrhage.

The mass effect is from the enhancing tumour (*) and surrounding edema.

The mass has low T2 signal at the margin which could be hemorrhage (arrow).

Diagnosis: Metastatic carcinoma, renal cell

The pleomorphic lesion at the left forms a sharp brain:tumour interface (arrows).
