History/Physical

History/physical:

29-year-old right-handed female.

Frontal headache.

Bi-temporal hemianopsia.

The CT shows a large mass (arrows) between the frontal lobes. The high attenuation is hemorrhage (*).

There is remodelling of the floor of the sella (arrows). This indicates the mass is slow growing.

The mass is extra-axial. There is a CSF cleft on the right (arrows) and cortical buckling on the left (arrowheads).

There is remodelling of the sella floor (arrows).

The mass arises from the sella (arrows) and extends superiorly into the interhemispheric fissure (*) and suprasellar cistern (arrowheads).

Diagnosis: Pilocytic astrocytoma
